The House
The house, new in 2004, is a semi-detached, 2 storey, 'chalet -style' villa with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is situated in a smart, quiet Spanish residential area about 10 minutes walk (2 minute drive) through pine woods from the beach at La Barrosa. It is emphatically not part of a holiday complex. The house backs onto a private park / children's play area which is for the exclusive use of local residents. It is fully equipped to accommodate up to 6 adults in comfort. Amenities include heating, air conditioning & UK Sky satellite TV and Spanish digital TV.
At the front, there is a covered patio which gets the afternoon and evening sunshine. This has an large extendable sunshade (toldo) over the full width to provide shade when required. Also, on this facade, there is a large balcony at first floor level (access via the main bedroom). At the back of the house is another terrace which overlooks the park. This gets the sunshine in the morning. To the front and side is an area for car parking, though there is ample space for safe and convenient parking on the quiet road immediately outside the house.
